Minister Bettye Landrum has devoted the past thirty years of her life to helping people overcome the effects of negative thinking. 

She is a psychotherapist and drug counselor. She utilizes her skills to identify repressed feelings, as well as fruitless or negative thought patterns.  She helps her clients to understand why they continue to sabotage their lives with self-destructive acts. The power of forgiveness is part of the foundation of her teaching.

Minister Bettye Landrum has spent much of her life, teaching people the skills necessary to rewrite their futures through faith.  She enjoys living and teaching the word of God to everyone, in order to empower them, to be all that God has called them to be do and become. 

Minister Bettye Landrum has been the President of the Afro American Industrial Club since 2003.  The club is a lifetime member of the N.A.A.C.P.  The Afro-American Industrial Club, Inc. has enjoyed ninety-six years of service in Jersey City, making it the oldest organization of black women in the United States.  The efforts of this group were instrumental in Governor Brendan Byrne declaring the month of February to be Afro-American History Month in 1980.  Our members are looking forward to continued growth and opportunities to work in unity, love, and harmony with our families, friends, and community.

For the past seven years Minister Bettye Landrum has been on the pastoral team of Mt. Sinai Full Gospel Church, Bishop Henry D. Mays, Pastor and Jacqueline C. Mays, Co-Pastor. She fell in love the day she walked into the building, back in February 1999.  She knew that Mt. Sinai was where God had planned for her to spread the gospel through counseling, teaching, and helping hurt people know that God has a plan for their lives. Mt. Sinai Full Gospel Church is located in Jersey City, NJ.  The doors are open to everyone seven days a week.  It is the place where all hurting people should be. Currently Minister Landrum teaches Sunday school and Third Year Bible College at Mt. Sinai.  She also provides Pre martial counseling; court mandated Anger Management, and all aspects of family counseling there as well. She teaches people to “seek the will of God in every thing they do”.

Minister Landrum is committed to healing people and relationships, through the ministry, as a professionally trained therapist. She ministers with Christian compassion. Minister Bettye Landrum believes that the study and application of God’s word is the greatest lesson a human being can engage in.
